At least six individuals have been killed and 81 injured in an explosion in a busy space of central Istanbul, Turkish authorities have mentioned.
The blast occurred at about 16:20 native time (13:20 GMT) on a purchasing avenue within the Taksim Square space, the Turkish metropolis's governor Ali Yerlikaya mentioned.
