Dont Joke With Nkrumah Kabilla Warns NAPO NPP

James Kwabena Bomfeh has registered his displeasure with the statements by Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh during his unveiling ceremony as Running Mate of the New Patriotic Party in the Ashanti Region.
Delivering a speech after being showcased to the people in Kumasi, the Energy Minister, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, also called “NAPO”said; “Since independence from 1957 till today, we’ve not had any president that has helped Ghana like Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo. I say from 1957 till today, you can bring your Kwame Nkrumah... no president has protected Ghana and moved the country forward like Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.”
James Kwabena Bomfeh, former General Secretary of the Convention People’s Party (CPP), cautioned NAPO against denigrating Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, Ghana’s first President, and his reputation.
Mr. Kwabena Bomfeh, popularly referred to as “Kabilla”, stressed no one should joke with Dr. Kwame Nkrumah and told that they respect his legacy.
“Kwame Nkrumah is not a person to joke about. Even though he is not without blemish, he led Ghana to gain our independence. Aside this and beyond his good works, he’s written more than any President in the Republic of Ghana, intellectually contributing to the minds to the development of the mind of Ghanaians and the world at large, especially among black race and suffering people around the globe”, he said.
He also admonished the NPP Running Mate to avoid making mistakes as he and his flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, hope to win the December general elections.
“Let us avoid making mistakes or repeating mistakes should be your clarion attention”, he warned.
He made these submissions on Peace FM's "Kokrokoo" morning show.
