Visa Connection Woman Who Allegedly Stole 55 Emirates Airline Tickets Granted GH₵200,000 Lease | Social

A Visa Agent, who allegedly stole 55 Emirates Airline Tickets from Emirates' Airline Ticket Application of Landtours Ghana Limited, has been granted bail by an Accra Circuit Court.

Madam Adwoa Pomaa, charged with stealing and unauthorized circumvention, pleaded not responsible.

The Court presided over by Mrs Susana Eduful admitted the accused individual to bail within the sum of GH₵200,000.00 with 4 sureties.

The Court ordered that the sureties must be direct members of the family of the accused individual.

Madam Pomaa was ordered by the Court to report back to the Police each Tuesday.

The prosecution was additionally directed by the Court to file and serve all disclosures and witness statements.

Police Chief Inspector Isaac Anquandah, prosecuting, informed the Court that the complainant, Mr Mawuli Dzebu, was the Chief Executive Officer of Landtours Ghana Limited, an organization that offers in Airline Tickets and others.

The prosecution stated the accused individual was a resident of Odorkor whereas her accomplishment, one Kudjo, was at massive.

It stated in June 2021, the complainant reported to the Police that their Ticketing Booking Application belonging to Emirates often known as Farelogix was compromised and consequently, 55 Emirates tickets amounting to GHS610,000.00 had been issued to some vacationers by unknown individuals.

The prosecution stated consequently vacationers traveled to Dubai, South Africa, Kenya, and China in May 2021 and had been placed on cease checklist on the Kotoka International Airport in July 2022.

It stated on October 1, 2022, a witness, Mustapha Ibrahim, was arrested on the Kotoka International Airport by the Ghana Immigration Service upon arrival from Dubai and handed over to the Police to help in investigation.

He stated Ibrahim knowledgeable the Police that Madam Pomaa facilitated all his touring documentation to Dubai, together with the ticket after he had paid over GH₵10,000.00 to her.

The prosecution stated intelligence led to the arrest of Pomaa who secured securing visa and ticket for Ibrahim to journey to Dubai in May 2021.

It stated Pomaa stated one Martin, a white man in Dubai, assisted her with the Dubai visa whereas Kudjo received her the ticket.

The prosecution stated Madam Pomaa couldn't lead the Police to the home of her accomplish, saying she had informed the Police she didn't know the place Kudjo resided and that they usually met on the town and did enterprise via cell cash.

It stated the phone quantity given by Pomaa as that of Kudjo couldn't be reached.

The prosecution stated efforts had been being made to arrest Kudjo to help within the investigation.

It stated three cellphones belonging to Pomaa had been taken for examination to help within the investigation.
