According to a report by Nigerian Blogger Linda Ikeji, Ifeanyi died by drowning at Davido's Banana Island mansion. He was reportedly rushed to Evercare Hospital in Lekki the place he was pronounced lifeless on arrival.

The couple had reportedly, traveled for a household gathering at Ibadan on Sunday October 30, 2022 and had left Ifeanyi along with his caretakers and household current who cannot clarify how he entered the pool with out being seen and drowned.

Some of the folks current at Davido's House when the tragic incident occurred have been arrested for questioning.
