The Paramount Chief of Kpando, Togbe Dagadu XI has acknowledged the mammoth reception the people of Kpando accorded Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, during his visit to the community on Sunday.
Dr. Bawumia, as part of the opening day of his tour of the Volta Region, visited Kpando where many people defied a heavy downpour to welcome him.
Welcoming Dr. Bawumia to the town, Togbe Dagadu XI, on behalf of the Chiefs and people of Kpando, expressed delight at the Vice President’s visit as well as their confidence in his leadership.
Togbe Gabusu also assured Dr. Bawumia to feel at home stressing so many people in the area support him.
"Kpando is your home”, Togbe Dagadu said.
"There are a number of people here in Kpando who support you and your presence here has painted the town blue, white and red”, the Paramount Chief added as he touted the impact of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
"We the Chiefs and people of Kpando have high hopes in your leadership”, Togbe Dagadu XI also remarked and expressed confidence that the residents at Kpando will always give Dr. Bawumia their support and love should Ghanaians and the Almighty God "smile at you and deliver the steering wheel of Ghana into your handshellip;I believe there are good tidings. We are ready to work with you anytime any day".
Togbe Dagadu also commended the NPP government for countless development projects nationally and in the Kpando area.Ameyaw Adu Gyamfi:
