NADMO Boss Becomes First Ghanaian to Serve as Executive Council Member of ICDO | General News

The Director General of the National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO), Eric Nana Agyeman-Prempeh has become the first Ghanaian to be a member of the International Civil Defense Organization (ICDO).
He was elected as an Executive Council member of the general assembly during its 55th Session of the Executive Council and the 25th Session of the General Assembly of the International Civil Defense Organization (ICDO)conference.
The 60 member countries present in the assembly supported Mr Agyeman-Prempeh's nomination making him the only Anglophone Sub-Saharan African on the council.
“I would also like to congratulate my Tunisian and Nicaraguan counterparts for winning the Chairmanship and Vice Chairmanship positions respectively,” he said after his election.
