The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, Bernard Antwi-Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi, has expressed his profound gratitude to the Vice President of Ghana and presidential candidate of the ruling New Patriotic Party, His Excellency Dr. Mahamudu Bawumi choosing the Minister of Education and Member of Parliament for Bosomtwe Constituency, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum to head his campaign group dubbed ‘B24’.
Speaking at the official launch of the group in Kumasi on the Friday, 27th September, 2024, the Ashanti Regional Chairman extolled the achievements and enormous contributions of the Education Minister at the grassroots level of the party.
According to Chairman Wontumi, Dr. Adutwum is a great asset to the party, particularly when it comes to supporting the activities of the grassroots.
“Dr. Adutwum is a great asset to the party. He has always supported the activities of the party at the grassroots level”, Chairman Wontumi said.
The NPP Ashanti Regional Chairman added; “I therefore thank the next President of Ghana, His Excellency Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, for this wise decision to appoint Dr. Adutwum as the head of the B24 Campaign group. He really deserves it.”
The country goes to the polls in three month’s time and the two leading parties, the New Patriotic Party and the National Democratic Congress, are leaving no stone unturned.
With the decision of the NPP flagbearer to prioritize the grassroots, the ruling party clearly demonstrates that they are not leaving any room for complacency.
