Kofi Tonto has charged the largest opposition National Democratic Congress(NDC) to either comply with the Electoral Commission to address their concerns or make their findings public.
The National Democratic Congress (NDC) embarked on a nationwide demonstration on Tuesday, September 17, making demands for an independent forensic audit of the voter's register by the Electoral Commission (EC).
They also tell the EC to, among other demands, conduct another exhibition of the register when the audit by the independent body is completed.
Kofi Tonto, a Government Spokesperson found no sense in what he termed as the adamant posture by the NDC on the issue.
He wondered why the opposition party is making demands but refuses to prove themselves by showing a concrete evidence.
"If the NDC says they have issues with the register, they have a right to express that. But if you have issues, bring the evidence. If you don't trust the Electoral Commission, publish the evidence so that all Ghanaians can see," he said on Peace FM's 'Kokrokoo' show.Ameyaw Adu Gyamfi
