The Ghana Education Service (GES) has delayed the vacation date for all Public Basic Schools by a day.
The directive which is to enable Primary Four (P4) pupils to write the National Standardized Test means the students will now vacate on Friday, December 16, 2022, instead of today (Thursday, December 15, 2022)
The GES in a post on Facebook added that the re-opening date for the first term of the next academic year is January 10, 2023.
"The vacation date for Public Basic Schools for Third Term has been shifted to Friday 16th December, 2022," the post reads.
"This is to enable the Primary Four (P4) pupils write the National Standardized Test on Friday, 16th December, 2022".
