Coca-Cola is excited to bring back the original taste of Coke in its classic glass bottle. Consumers can now enjoy the crisp and refreshing taste of Coca‑Cola Original with the convenience of returning their glass bottles for reuse.
The return of the iconic glass bottle is in line with Coca-Cola organization’s reusable packaging as part of its ‘World Without Waste’ global initiative which aims to ensure at least 25% of its beverages sold are packaged in refillable or returnable glass or plastic or fountain dispensers by 2030.
In Ghana, Coke is creating awareness of the relaunch of the classic glass bottles through exciting activations targeted at eateries, pubs, and street vendors.
Coca-Cola is bringing this excitement through “Real Magic” platforms which are built on the idea that “Real Magic” exists everywhere, in every home, every city, and in every moment, and that Coca-Cola is the catalyst that brings these moments to life.
The past couple of weeks have seen some selected pubs and eateries enjoying the magic of the return of the Coke glass bottle. These include Blackberry Lounge at Spintex, Aduanepa in East Legon, Guinness Spot in Dansoman, and Benitos in Kaneshie amongst others.
Coke hopes to elevate its customer experience through these activations which are planned for selected outlets within the city each weekend for the next ten weeks.
Coca-Cola aims at the end of the activations campaign, to get their consumers to choose the original taste of Coke in the 300ml returnable glass bottle and create magic with it to help decrease plastic towards a more sustainable future in line with their “World Without Waste” initiative.
