Tarkwa Nsuaem Taxi Drivers Rally Behind Mireku Duker For Victory 2024

GPRTU drivers at Tarkwa in the Western Region have expressed their support for the MP and Deputy Minister of Lands and Natural Resources, George Mireku Duker, for his tremendous leadership in the past years, advocating the need for the electorate to persist voting massively for him.

They said, looking at the trend of MPs in the history of Tarkwa Politics, Hon. Mireku Duker has performed better than any of them in terms of health, education, and roads.

Examining the state of Tarkwa when Mireku Duker was voted as an MP, the drivers said the station where they operated was in a very bad state while the main road from Apimanem to Tarkwa was equally in deplorable condition.

Further, the Tarkwa inner roads were not befitting a Mining City like Tarkwa but since he was voted to power, Mireku Duker has touched all roads in the constituency, some of which will be completed by this month.

"Hon. Duker is a pure member of GPRTU because he has been a driver before so rallying behind him is no mistake but rather a positive step to transform our roads in the Tarkwa Constuency. Voting for Duker is not just giving him the leadership mantle, but he understands the obstacles in their field of work as drivers."
