I Wish You Happy And Prosperous Journey To The Highest Office of the Land Ya Naa Tells Bawumia

The Overlord of Dagbon, Ndan Ya-Naa Naa Abukari II, has invoked the grace of God on NPP flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, in his bid to become President of Ghana.

The Ya Naa, President of the Northern Regional House of Chiefs, welcomed Dr. Bawumia into the Region as he (Bawumia) held discussions with the Chiefs on Thursday, May 16.

Congratulating Dr. Bawumia on behalf of the Regional House of Chiefs on his election as NPP flagbearer, the Ya Naa prayed for a successful campaign and Dr. Bawumia's election as President.

"On behalf of the members of the August House, the Chiefs, paramount women Chiefs and the people of the Northern Region, I want to formally congratulate you on your election as the flagbearer of the ruling New Patriotic Party for the upcoming 2024 general elections. Nanima wishes you the best in your aspirations and desire to serve through the highest office of the land", the Ya Naa said.

The Overlord of Dagbon also reserved a special wish and prayers for Dr. Bawumia stating "I wish you a happy and prosperous campaign. May Allah Azza Wa Jal grant you the chance to serve in the highest office of the land".

Earlier in his address, the Ya Naa commended the Akufo-Addo government for the development projects in the Northern Region and Dr. Bawumia's tremendous contributions to enhancing the progress of the Region.
