NPP Condemns Attack On Its Communicator

Former New Patriotic Party (NPP) Communications Director, Yaw Adomako Baafi, has strongly condemned the recent attack on the Ejura Sekyedumase Constituency NPP Youth organizer in the Ashanti Region during a radio discussion.
Deputy Communication Director, Bawumia 2024 Campaign, Yaw Baafi described the incident as "barbaric" and attributed it to the violent pronouncements made by the party's leadership during their campaign tour.
A disturbing incident occurred on Naagyei FM, where Osman, a communicator for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Ejura Sekyeredumase Constituency, physically assaulted Abdul Rahman Hudu, a panelist for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), during a live broadcast.
Mr Yaw Adomako Baafi in an interview with Despite Media Sampson Kwame Nyamekye said, the main opposition National Democratic Congress has been tagged as a violent party, making such incidents unsurprising to society.
He emphasized that Ghanaians have come to understand the policies and programs of the NPP, which has led to hatred and attacks from the opposition party.
Mr Adomako Baafi stressed that the incident has been reported to the courts, seeking justice for the victim.
He urged stakeholders, including the Christian Council and Peace Council, to intensify their peace messages to prevent future occurrences.
