Vice Chancellor of GTUC Commissions Modern Sports Complex for University

The Vice Chancellor of Ghana Communication innovation University (GCTU), Prof. Emmanuel Ohene Afoakwa, has commissioned an ultramodern sports complex for the university, a newly constructed multipurpose sports facility barely for the students.
The Vice Chancellor's commissioning marks the facility’s readiness for the various sports codes for students who are interested in sports activities.
The facility is said to accommodate a total of seven competitive sports, including hockey, handball, basketball, volleyball, and football.
Among the notable features of the GTUC sports complex are its 220-seat capacity, which includes washrooms.
Speaking at the inauguration of the state-of-the-art facility at the university, Vice chancellor Prof. Emmanuel Ohene Afoakwa assured the management of the university and students of their readiness to take part in any sporting activities.
He was optimistic that the facility will go a long way to inject additional impetus into the students and also become a catalyst that will enhance the quality of life of the people, especially the youth.
