I Wonder What You Ate Before Making That Post Sam George Questions IMANIs Kofi Bentil

The Member of Parliament for Ningo Prampram, Sam George Nettey, has called out the Vice President of IMANI Africa, Kofi Bentil.

According to him, it is disappointing that Mr. Bentil would call on Ghanaians to give a fair hearing to Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the Vice President and flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

Mr. Bentil had urged Ghanaians to give Dr. Bawumia a fair chance to become the next President.
 
He argued that, as Vice President, Dr. Bawumia had not held ultimate power hence should not be held solely accountable for the country’s obstacles.

But in the lawmaker’s view, Mr. Bentil is merely doing PR work for Dr. Bawumia because he is aligned with them.

“I wonder what Kofi Bentil ate before making that post. I always say that nobody is neutral; we are all aligned with a political party. Kofi should stop lying to us and stop doing PR work for Bawumia. Whatever you received from Bawumia to deceive us, just return it to him,” he said on Adom FM.

Mr. George questioned why the same sentiment was not expressed when Mr. Mahama also sought power.

“Did you ask us to give Mahama a chance, and now you are telling us to give Bawumia a chance? For what?” he questioned.

To him, Dr. Bawumia has been a colossal failure thus should not be given any chance.
