Hage Geingob Will Be Remembered Across Africa Akufo Addo Mourns Namibia President

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has extended his heartfelt sorrow to the people of Namibia on the loss of their President Hage Geingob.
Namibia’s President Hage Geingob passed away from treating cancer at a hospital in the capital, Windhoek.
In a statement, Vice-President Nangolo Mbumba confirmed Mr. Geingob’s demise in the early hours of Sunday morning.
President Akufo-Addo in his message of condolence stated that the late Namibia President was not only a respected leader but also a dedicated servant to his people.
He said the late Hage Geingo will be remembered across the African continent for his exceptional leadership.
“The Ghanaian people and I express our deepest condolences to the Government and people of Namibia on the untimely passing of their President, His Excellency Hage Geingob. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Namibian nation during this challenging time,” he wrote in a statement.
