Dr. Gideon Boako is the spokesperson for the Vice President Dr. Mahmud Bawumia. He is a financial economist with years of experience in academia, policy formulatuions and government consultancies.
Dr. Boako contended with the incumbent Member of Parliament Hon. Freda Prempeh spearheading an impressive campaign in the Tano North Constituency, resulting in a landslide victory. Dr. Boako pulled a total vote of 444 while the incumbent, Hon. Freda Prempeh pulled a total vote of 221.
This implies that, Dr. Boako will be the Parliamentary candidate on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the upcoming December 2024 elections.
