Sefwi Anhwiaso Traditional Council Calls For Peace In Bibiani

The Sefwi Anhwiaso Traditional Council has reiterated its commitment to ensure peace prevails in the area in order to enhance growth and development.
They are therefore advising detractors and troublemakers, whose only quest is to foment trouble and bring anarchy to the people in Bibiani, to allow peace to reign in the Bibiani Anhwiaso Traditional Area.
The traditional council made this call at Ogyeahoho's palace at Sefwi Anhwiaso in the Western North Region.
Addressing the media in a press conference on Wednesday, Nana Bonya III, Atipemhene of Sefwi Anhwiaso Traditional Area, emphasized that since the overlord of the land is the President of the National House of Chiefs and also the President of the Western North Regional House of Chiefs, there is a need to become the pacesetter by bringing peace to the doorstep of his people.
He stressed that, since the creation of the Western North Region by the President, H.E. Nana Addo Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, the people in the area, led by Ogyeahoho Yaw Gyebi II, who is also a member of the Council of State, are trying everything possible to bring development to the area to uplift the image of Bibiani Anhwiaso, but some detractors are not giving peace a chance.
He indicated that land litigation issues could be a standing block to disturb the peace in the area.
He said individuals, investors, and organizations that have seen the potential in Bibiani Anhwiaso and wish to make investments by acquiring lands, especially within Bibiani, should deal only with the Sefwi Anhwiaso Traditional Council, headed by Ogyeahoho Yaw Gyebi II, the Paramount Chief of the area, through the Krontihene, Nana Anarfi Ababio.
He added that since the creation of the region, it has brought about the Regional Education Directorate, the University of Mines and innovation campus, among others, which is attracting more investors to the area, but some detractors have set an agenda to disturb the peace in the area to scare investors.
There's an investor who is into Real Estate development and has genuinely acquired land from the traditional council, but some unqualified people within Bibiani are walking around peddling falsehoods about it's projects.
"I can't fathom why these people are doing that. I am stating clearly that the Royal Estate Developer is genuine and has genuinely acquired lands from the traditional council, and anyone who wants to do business with them can do so since they are genuine and they are not a scam, as some unqualified people are going around peddling falsehoods about them," he said.
The Atipemhene of Sefwi Anhwiaso Traditional Area, Nana Bonya III, however, cannot fathom the wrongful claims of land ownership by some unqualified individuals in the area.
Ogyeahoho Yaw Gyebi II, the Paramount Chief of Anhwiaso Traditional Area, is the only custodial title holder as far as lands in the area, including Bibiani, are concerned, he told the press.
