The Majority Leader in parliament, Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu has stated the government would current the 2023 Budget Statement and Economic Policy inside the constitutionally allowed timeframe regardless of a possible delay.
According to him, the negotiations with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) could delay the presentation however assured that the ministry of finance is working across the clock to fulfill the constitutional timeline.
He instructed NEAT FM's morning present, 'Ghana Montie' that the sooner proposed date for the funds presentation has been modified.
“The presentation will not be on November 15, 2022, as earlier said, rather, it will be on November 24, 2022,” he famous.
