The Minister for the Interior, Ambrose Dery, has officially declared Friday, December 1, 2023, as a public holiday for the observation of the annual Farmersrsquo; Day.
The announcement comes ahead of the countryrsquo;s commemoration of Farmersrsquo; Day, a significant event honouring the contributions of farmers across the nation.
In a statement released today, Ambrose Dery emphasized that December 1, 2023, which marks Farmersrsquo; Day, will be observed as a Statutory Public Holiday throughout the country. He urged the general public to respect and observe this declaration accordingly.
