Dr Christian Addai-Poku: I Cannot Be Subject Of Teacher Unions Struggle Over Appointment Of GES Director General | Health

The Executive Secretary of the National Teaching Council (NTC), Dr Christian Addai-Poku, says he's not conscious of a dialogue by trainer unions of him being most popular because the Director General of the Ghana Education Service (GES).
He has subsequently stated, he can't be the topic of the trainer unions wrestle over the appointment of the GES boss.

Dr Addai-Poku stated this in response to a narrative printed by Graphic Online with the headline: Govt drags hanging lecturers to Labor Commission over Nkansah's appointment as GES DG”.

Graphic Online had gathered from some sources throughout the lecturers entrance that they might have most popular Dr Christian Addai-Poku, a former President of NAGRAT because the GES DG.

But, the NTC Executive Secretary who has indicated his unhappiness of being linked to the problem has said that “I want to state categorically that until I read this story online, I was never aware of any such discussion anywhere, that is, if there has ever been any such discussion at all. I cannot be the subject of the teacher unions struggle over the appointment of the director general”.

“I cannot be the subject of the Teacher Unions struggle over the appointment of the Director General. It is unfortunate that Graphic Online could not quote from any authoritative sources in such a serious allegation but resorted to rumors and unidentified sources. I am unhappy to see my name in such a story and I distance myself from the said publication,” he stated.

I've come throughout a narrative on Graphic Online captioned “drags striking teachers to Labor Commission over Nkansah's appointment as GES DG”.

The story said "Graphic Online has gathered from some sources within the teachers front that they would have preferred Dr Christian Addai-Poku, a former President of NAGRAT as the GES DG".

I wish to state categorically that till I learn this story on-line, I used to be by no means conscious of any such dialogue wherever, that's, if there has ever been any such dialogue in any respect. I can't be the topic of the Teacher Unions wrestle over the appointment of the Director General. It is unlucky that Graphic Online couldn't quote from any authoritative sources in such a critical allegation however resorted to rumors and unidentified sources.
