Ex Prez Mahama On When He Will Select His Running Mate

In a recent announcement, John Dramani Mahama, the presidential candidate of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), revealed that he will choose his running mate for the upcoming presidential election next year.

The decision comes in response to suggestions made by traditional authorities in Asunafo South, in the Ahafo region who recommended their Member of Parliament, Eric Opoku, for the position.

“Our party, like custom, has processes for selecting candidates for various roles.

“The Presidential candidate, National executives, and Council of Elders meet to select a running mate.” But that procedure will commence next year. So keep praying for such a day,” Mr. Mahama said.
