Media Personality Mona Gucci Drags ECG After Buying Over Ghc 1k Electricity In Just Two Weeks

Mona Guccihas called out ECG for cheating after spending approximately Ghc 1,260 on buying electricity in just two weeks of using a new meter.
According to her, ECG officials came to her home to substitute her old meter for a new smart meter and since then, her electricity bill has been running like crazy.
Mona Gucci called outECG, dabbing them cheats and criminals.
“GHANAIANS DO NOT ALLOW ANY OFFICIAL FROM ELECTRICITY organization OF GHANA TO COME alter YOUR OLD METER IN YOUR HOMEhellip;!! Their new smart meter called “ALPHA” is a SCAM‼️” she wrote.
Mona continued: “Dear@ecgghofficialyou guys brought in a new “CHARLES PONZI SMART” meter called “ALPHA” to substitute our traditional {old}hellip;meters in our homeshellip;only to rip Ghanaians offhellip;!
“You changed my meter on 4th November 2023hellip;.to yesterday 17th November 2023 I have bought electricity credits worth (GHS 1,260) hellip; like are u people serious? In just 13days..
“How much is an average Ghanaian making in a month? If itrsquo;s 500ghs salary, it means 13days meter pre-paid bill is more than the monthly salary of an average Ghanaian Where as our old pre-paid meters, I buy 300ghs credit per a month..! Then u brought in a PONZI SCHEME meter called ALPHA hellip;to destroy Ghanaianshellip;!!”
Mona added screenshots of the purchases she made on her meter.
Other people shared similar frustrating experiences.
“Mehhhnn. Itrsquo;s soo crazy, yesterday I bought 200 I woke up now and itrsquo;s finished,” one person said.
“Itrsquo;s crazy, in my house with myself my husband and 2 kids, one 5 years and the other almost a year, we are billed 2000gh plus per month.,” another netizen complained.
