“All Area Heads and ministers are to get involved and organize these meetings at any convenient level that will yield the maximum result,” the communicated added.
Reacting to the instruction in a collection of tweets, the actress questioned why the church did not use its place to carry the government accountable past fasting and prayers.
"Imagine the church truly took a place to HOLD government accountable past prayers[sic]. Imagine the church used its energy/affect to get our government to do proper by its folks. Instead, the church (most) use their place to solely advance itself and agenda[sic]. Shame.
"I might have revered the church's place much more in the event that they stored the identical power [with the LGBTQ+]. But I've reiterated many occasions that numerous non secular our bodies are NOT for the folks, many sadly simply use faith to advance their very own agenda.
"Imagine Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. asking black people to fast and pray for 3 days to end discrimination and not speaking against the injustices people of color were facing. Prayers, yes, but action too," Lydia Forson careworn.
