The Ghana Football Association has acknowledged that assistant Black Stars coach George Boateng won't carry out a twin job throughout the World Cup in Qatar.
Boateng was confirmed a part of beIN Sports punditry crew for the World Cup regardless of his job with the nationwide crew of Ghana.
The information of Boateng's affiliation with beIN Sports got here as a shock to Ghanaians with many urgent for his resignation.
However, the Ghana Football Association Communications Director, Henfry Asante, has confirmed he'll solely be working with the Black Stars.
"George Boateng will not join beIN Sports as a pundit for the 2022 FIFA World Cup. He is solely committed to the Black Stars," he stated on Asempa FM.
The technical crew of the Black Stars are set to launch their preliminary squad forward of the Mundial subsequent month.
Ghana have been drawn in Group H alongside Portugal, South Korea and Uruguay at Qatar 2022.
