Ghanaian songstress and Ruff Town Records signee, Wendy Shay says she has no business thinking about marriage at this point of her life when her music career and success supersedes all other interests including settling down.
The Uber Driver hit-maker who was speaking during a Twitter podcast recently disclosed her uncompromising stance to break boundaries with her music and said she will not let anything including marriage hold her back on her ambitions.
"For now, I'm not even thinking about marriage because music is my destiny, that is what makes me relevant in this life. So I don't think that I would trade something like that for marriage."
The singer's decision to prioritise her music career over marriage stems from her belief that she has more to achieve in the industry and she seeks a partner whose life goals align with hers, and won't compromise on this requirement.
"You [the would-be-husband] should be in alignment with my destiny. If it's just you loving and taking care of me, I don't think that is enough for me to give you attention," Wendy Shay added.
