I Regret Getting Married - Says Actress Ini Edo | general-entertainment

Veteran Nollywood actress, Ini Edo, has said that she regrets getting married as she was forced into the marriage.

On November 29, 2008, Ini Edo married American-based businessman Philip Ehiagwina, but the marriage only lasted five years.

In a recent interview with media personality, Chude Jideonwo, the actress said the marriage was a wrong decision. When asked by Chude if she regrets getting married as she was 'pressured' into it, the Akwa-Ibom born thespian responded;

''Yes I did because it just wasn't the right move to make''
Ini pointed that she will do marriage again if the right person comes but stressed that if marriage doesn't come, she is good.

She revealed that she decided to have her child through surrogacy in 2021, because she suffered many miscarriages.

“I chose surrogacy because I had a couple of miscarriages. And I just got tired of trying. I don't have a husband. So, I'm like, I want a child for myself, whether I have a husband or not. So, what other options would I have? And I wanted it to be my child. My eggs. Thankfully, my eggs are good. So I did that.” she said
