Ghana Football Association (GFA) President, Kurt Okraku, says getting the various match venues filled remains one of his priorities.
He has, however, admitted that patronage to some match venues has not been the best and as a result, he has called on stakeholders of the game to be proactive.
To him, the challenge should be considered as a collective responsibility although his outfit has measures in place by way of governance to ensure that there is confidence and that all participants of the game show commitment to the sport they so desire.
The GFA chief told SuperSport “…all of us have a role to play, we have a role to promote our league, the clubs have a role to promote club-related activities, and that includes the games.
“We have to come to the realization that collectively we have a role to play to ensure that the fans return to the stands. That is the only way we can enjoy our football.”
He added, “Not only about the GFA, yes we are on that journey, all the clubs have a role to play, and l want to see all of them proactive in that direction.”
