Dr George Asekere mentioned the President's tackle final Sunday was “one of the usual talk shops”, with “very little substance” to reply to the present financial disaster.
For him, the announcement of ongoing “talks” to scale back gasoline costs was troublesome to determine what the President meant.
“Is it an internal talk to reduce taxes on fuel products or part of external talks?” he requested, including: “What he said is not what is needed at the moment when we should be taking actions.”
Dr Asekere mentioned the tutorial system might face main issues if strikes that saved disrupting tutorial calendars endured.
“All unions in public universities are on strike and the President did not mention that, although it is disrupting the calendar,” he mentioned.
