Dec 7 John Mahama Doesnt Have a Policy President Akufo Addo Asserts

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is questioning what former president John Mahama is returning to do at the presidency after being rejected by the people of Ghana in an unprecedented election defeat.

"All the leaders under the fourth Republic had the chance to serve a two term in office as guaranteed by the constitution, with exception of the late J.E.A Mills who was whisked away by death. John Dramani Mahama is the only president under the fourth Republic who has been rejected twice after serving his first term in office," President Akufo-Addo said.

He said the people of Ghana gave John Mahama a humiliating defeat after tasting his bad government ridden with erratic power supply.

Speaking at a durbar organized in his honour by the Akyem Abuakwa traditional Council in Kyebi as part of his 'Thank You Tour' to the Eastern Region, Nana Akufo-Addo urged Ghanaians to reject John Mahama again.

He stated that, Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia is the best man to persist the countless social intervention projects undertaken by his administration.

"On Saturday, I want you to vote massively for Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia to protect and persist all the developmental projects I've started," President Akufo-Addo stated.

According to Nana Akufo-Addo, John Mahama has exhibited to the world that he doesn't believe in all his policies including free SHS, the Agenda 111, the 1D1F project, and the countless projects under his administration. Adding that, these projects will jeopardize if Ghanaians vote for John Mahama.

"Mahama doesn't have a policy, he goes about telling people that he is going to reset Ghana. Is reset a policy? He says 24 Hour Economy, anytime you ask for an explanation, he says 24 hour economy is voluntary. You couldn't keep our lights on for 24 hours but you want to do a 24 hour economy? How?" The president questioned.

He criticized those playing religious cards in this election. Adding that, all Ghanaians, irrespective of their religious inclination have the same rights and privileges.

The Okyenhene Osagyefo Amoatia Ofori Panin maintained that, it takes only a visionary leader and a person who thinks about the unborn generation to take the many decisions Nana Akufo-Addo has taken in his government.

Osagyefo Amoatia Ofori Panin hinted that, the Free SHS Policy is an initiative that will go into history as one of the good things that has ever happened to Ghana.

"Today, many people may not see the impact of free SHS, but in the near future, we shall appreciate it. No child should be denied basic education irrespective of the financial standing of their parents or family,' Osagyefo Amoatia Ofori Panin said.

He added that, posterity will be the best judge.
