Dec 7 Election Prof Jane Opoku Agyemang Interacts with Queen Mothers in the Central Region

The Vice Presidential candidate for the National Democratic (NDC), Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang as part of her campaign tour has engaged Queenmothers in the Central Region to deliberate on how to build the region.

Prof. Jane Naana highlighted some proposed policies by the NDC that will help women and Children which includes Women Development Bank, Ghana Medical Care Trust known as the Mahama Cares which will provide assistance to people suffering from chronic conditions such as kidney failure, diabetes, and other health conditions.

She reiterated that the next NDC government will implement policies to improve the lives of women through economic empowerment.

In the light of this she called on the Queen mothers for their support and vote for NDC come December 7th.

The Minority Leader in Parliament, and Member of Parliament for Ajumako Enyan Esiam, Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson, on his part said former President John Dramani Mahama chose Prof Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang due to his regard for women.

Therefore called on the Queen Mothers to rally behind Prof Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang and vote massively for the NDC.

He called on them to vote for alter since the current government has mismanaged the economy.

The former National Chairman of the NDC, Samuel Ofosu Ampofo on his part said the party's plan to establish a Women's Development Bank, is an initiative designed to provide financial support tailored specifically to the needs of women entrepreneurs, were based on empirical data about women’s role in economic development.Patricia Sefa Fisher/Peace FM Newsroom
