Deputy Trade Minister Supports 5000 Elderly Residents With Food Supplies

The Deputy Trade Minister and Member of Parliament for New Juaben South Constituency, Hon. Michael Okyere Baafi, has provided food items to support 5000 elderly residents aged 70 and above in his constituency.

This initiative is part of his ongoing efforts to assist the less privileged, including widows, the needy, and the aged, since he assumed office four years ago.

Speaking to the media at the event, Hon. Okyere Baafi emphasized that this act of benevolence is not politically motivated but stems from his commitment to uplifting the lives of vulnerable members of his community.

"This is a charge I have, and I will always prioritize the well-being of my constituents, especially the aged and less privileged in society."

He further assured that the initiative would persist indefinitely, as its impact has been significant.

"This exercise has no expiry date. I am committed to sustaining it because I see the positive difference it makes in people’s lives."

The beneficiaries expressed their heartfelt gratitude for the MP’s continued support as they receives, Food, Cloth, provisions among others.

Many highlighted how the gesture has profoundly enhanced their livelihoods, calling it a testament to his dedication to the welfare of the constituency’s most vulnerable citizens.
