On Sunday, November 17, 2024, John Boadu brought his spirited "It’s Possible" campaign to the Evalue Ajomoro Gwira Constituency, a crucial battleground in the upcoming December 7 general elections.
The campaign, aimed at galvanizing support for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) flagbearer, has become a symbol of optimism and determination across the country.
In his engagements today, John Boadu met with cross-section of the constituency’s key stakeholders, including the Parliamentary Candidate, Constituency officers, opinion leaders and the women’s groups.
These meetings were focused on reinforcing the message of hope, unity, and the party's readiness to secure victory in the polls. He again visited Nzema FM to reemphasize the need to vote for the various NPP Parliamentary Candidates in the said region.
During the interactions, Boadu emphasized the significant strides made by the NPP government under President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and Vice President Bawumia, especially in the areas of economic recovery, digitization, and infrastructure development. He assured the people that a Bawumia-led administration would build on these gains, bringing even greater progress to Ghana.
Speaking to the women’s groups, Boadu highlighted policies targeted at empowering women and promoting gender equality, referencing the recently passed Affirmative Action Bill as a testament to the NPP’s commitment to inclusivity. He urged the women to take an active role in ensuring the party’s success, stating, "When women rise, nations thrive. Together, we can make the December 7 victory a reality."
The opinion leaders, many of whom wield significant influence within the constituency, lauded the party’s grassroots approach and shared their views on local issues, particularly the need for enhanced livelihoods, enhanced healthcare, and education facilities.
John Boadu, a seasoned campaigner and former General Secretary of the NPP, expressed his unwavering confidence in the party’s ability to win the election, citing its robust policies and the transformational leadership of Dr. Bawumia. "This election is about securing the future of Ghana, and with Dr. Bawumia’s vision, it's possible to build a prosperous and inclusive nation," he reiterated.
The Evalue Ajomoro Gwira Constituency has traditionally been a hotly contested seat, and today’s visit underscored its importance in the NPP’s tactic to secure a decisive victory. With less than a month to the elections, the energy and focus of John Boadu’s "It’s Possible" campaign are invigorating the party’s base and rallying support at all levels.
As the campaign continues, the NPP remains steadfast in its commitment to engaging every Ghanaian and ensuring that the December 7 elections deliver a resounding victory for Dr. Bawumia and the New Patriotic Party.
