Bawumias Railway Development Plan Is The Way To Go For Ghana Kufour

Former President John Agyekum Kufuor has hailed Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia's mega railway development plans for Ghana.

Last week, during his tour of the Ashanti Region, Bawumia revealed his plans to prioritize railway development, highlighting a strategic line from Tema through Boakra to the North and to the Western Region.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with Asempa FM, former President Kufuor commended the railway development plan among other policies that Dr. Bawumia has outlined saying it is a transformational tool to advance the progress of Ghana.

"A few days ago, I was listening to him and he mentioned about his plans to prioritize railway development...He mentioned Tema through Boakra all the way to the North to open up the country, using the iron deposit which is very good and the way to go", former President Kufuor established.

Explaining why Dr. Bawumia should be elected the next President of Ghana, former President Kufuor said; "We need somebody like him who understands contemporary trends in global affairs and also innovation and digitalization.
