NPP's John Boadu has argued that if Ghana is left out of the technological world, the country's economy is likely to crash.
According to him, all developing countries are thriving on digitalisation to shape their economy and urged Ghana to embrace the chance now or regret it later.
"Back in the day, it was cocoa farmers and contractors with the money. Now, who are the richest people in the world and what do they do? They are all into tech. That is what is reviving the economy globally,” he opined.
John Boadu who was speaking on NEAT FM's morning show, 'Ghana Montie' said Ghana is ‘lucky’ to have had a presidential candidate [Dr Mahamudu Bawumia] who understands the world economy trend with his countless digital policies to revamp the economy.
“That is the person we have to support to be President of this country," he said.
He, however, believes with time, Ghana will generate millions from its digital policies to reshape the economy.
“We have to alter our mindset. We can't fail our people this time,” he noted.
