Bekwai NPP PC Lawyer Ralph Poku Adusei Kneels To Beg Constituents To Vote Massively For Bawumia
Tue, 12 Nov 2024 02:00
In an unprecedented move, Lawyer Ralph Poku-Adusei, New Patriotic Party's Parliamentary Candidate for Bekwai Constituency, knelt before traditional leaders (Nananom) and constituents to solicit support for Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia, the party's flagbearer and himself.
Lawyer Ralph Poku-Adusei urged constituents to vote massively for Dr. Bawumia, as they did for H.E Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo Addo and H.E ex-president J.A. Kuffour in previous elections.
He highlighted NPP's projects in the constituency and ongoing initiatives, emphasizing that only the NPP under Dr. Bawumia's leadership can complete and initiate new projects for massive development.
This gesture has sparked optimism that the constituency will retain its tradition of landslide NPP victories since 1992, with Lawyer Poku-Adusei's affectionate nickname "young wise counsel" potentially reflecting in December 7 votes.
This was done during the constituency's "Bawumia Connect" with Nananom, Heads of Institutions, Security services, Health Directorate, Imams, Market women and tertiary students at the Yegua Conference Hall in Bekwai.
The atmosphere was charged with party sympathisers defying their usual Monday morning ritual of coming out late after weekend activities to support their PC, flagbearer and party.
As Ghana approaches its 2024 elections, the excitement and anticipation across the nation are palpable.
Citizens are gearing up for an election that promises to be highly competitive, with both major political parties, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the National Democratic Congress (NDC), vying for victory in what could be one of the most tightly contested races in recent history.
This election will not only shape Ghana's immediate future but also solidify the country's standing as a leader in democratic governance in Africa.
With a history of peaceful democratic transitions, Ghana's 2024 election is another milestone in the nation's political journey.King Edward Ambrose Washman/
