The Bono Regional Chairman of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwame Baffoe Abronye, has eulogized Hon. Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh (a.k.a Napo), the 2024 Vice Presidential Candidate of the Party, for spearheading many developmental projects in the Bono Region, particularly during his reign as Education and Energy Minister.
He described Dr. Prempeh’s impact in the region as phenomenal and intimated that his elevation to the Office of Vice President of the Republic would be a great blessing to the whole country and to the good people of Bono Region in particular.
“Napo has been a phenomenal leader. He has shown that if you give him any challenging job, he will deliver as he has done at the Education and Energy Ministries. For us in Bono, as has been confirmed by the MMDCEs and Chiefs in the constituencies we have visited, Napo has assisted us with school infrastructure, water projects and job opportunities”, he noted.
Napo, he said, has also done extremely well in the area of electricity extension to the various constituencies in the region. “Beyond educational infrastructure, Napo has also extended electricity including streetlights to many town and villages in the Bono region, and we are grateful”.
Chairman Baffoe Abronye made these remarks at a durbar of chiefs and people of Jaman North held in Duadaso on Monday, November 4, 2024, to welcome Dr Bawumia’s Running Mate who is a 4-day constituency-focused tour of the Bono Region.
The Regional Chairman also commended Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh for his continuous support to the Party in the Region, which, he said, has greatly contributed to making the NPP more popular in the Bono Region.King Edward Ambrose Washman/
