My Commitment Is to Transform Ghana  Dr Bawumia

Vice President and the Presidential candidate of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has told the Ghanaian youth that his ultimate aim for standing for the Presidency is to transform Ghana. 

Addressing the youth all across Ghana on Sunday, 3rd November, 2024, Dr. Bawumia underscored the need to transform the country in order to make it attractive for the youth of Ghana to stay and work in the Ghana.

According to him, the desire to transform Ghana is to end the exodus of Ghanaians to other European countries to seek greener pastures, some of whom die while embarking on their voyage. 

Speaking live from the Borteyman Sports Complex in Accra, Dr. Bawumia noted that the transformation of Ghana is dependent on three major areas, namely; education, skills and jobs.

Speaking further, Dr. Bawumia opined that, once the Ghanaian youth is well educated, the acquisition of the requisite skill for the job market will make it easier for them to be readily employed, or better skill, become entrepreneurs. 

"In my conversation with you today, I will tell you about the business friendly environment that my government, Insha Allah, will generate to make it all possible. I will outline the bold economic solutions that we plan to roll out to make it all possible. 

"I will outline bold economic solutions that we plan to roll out to make it possible to create millions of jobs if I am given the mandate on December 7, 2024. 

Dr. Bawunmia, while interacting with the youth across the 16 regions of Ghana, reiterated his passion to see the Ghanaian youth live a comfortable life by making them his number one priority. 

"My commitment is to transform Ghana, to build on the economic recovery we are witnessing by introducing bold business friendly policy initiatives from January 2025 which are designed to stimulate significant economic activity.
