The 'Burger' Highlife music legend, Lee Dodou has for the first time disclosed the secret to composing the song "It's High Time Now".

"It's High Time Now" is one of the amazing hit songs that was used to introduce the music genre "Burger Highlife".

The song, whose lyrics stand for African liberation, was composed specifically for South African's leader, Nelson Mandela.

In an interview with host Abeiku Santana on Okay FM's "Ekwanso Dwodwoo" drive time, the 'Ako Te Brofo' composer and singer Lee Dodou revealed that the "It's High Time Now" was done during the time that Nelson Mandela was imprisoned.

According to him, he was contacted to do a song to promote the "free Mandela" campaign and this is how this song came about.
