NAPO Speaks On Educational Equity At The University Of Memphis Friday

The Vice Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, keynote address on Friday at the University of Memphis in the US on the topic ‘Implementing a National Policy for Educational Access and Equity’.
Against all odds, Dr. Prempeh, who is widely known as ‘Napo’, worked diligently implement the famous free Senior High School (SHS) social intervention programme when he served as the Minister of Education, among other great achievements.
Napo is being accompanied to the University of Memphis by high-profile personalities, including Hajiya Alima Mahama, Ghana’s Ambassador to the US, Dr. Kingsley Agyemang, the Registrar, Scholarship Secretariat, Henry Nana Boakye, NPP National Organizer, Prof. Opoku Amankwa among others
Announcing the travel, spokesperson for the NPP Vice Presidential candidate, Fiifi Boafo said during the visit, Napo will also engage with members of the Ghanaian community in Memphis to further strengthen connections between Ghana and its diaspora, adding “he will be hosted by the Mayor of the City of Memphis in a bid to foster cultural and educational exchange”.
According to him, the NPP vice presidential candidate, who departed from Accra on 17 , 20 October 2024 to persist with his political campaign for the upcoming presidential and parliamentary elections, which are scheduled for December 7.
