The Special Adviser on Information and tactic to President Bola Tinubu, Mr Bayo Onanuga, has said the President is not restricted to the United Kingdom for his two-week leave.
According To The Presidential Aide, “It Is The President’s Private Time And He Can Visit Anywhere He Desires.”
Onanuga wrote on his verified X (Twitter) handle: “President Tinubu is on leave for two weeks. He is not restricted to the UK.
“It is his private time. He can go to anywhere he so desires. He is still observing his leave.”
Vanguard reported, yesterday, that President Bola Tinubu departed the United Kingdom for Paris, France, where he is expected to attend an significant engagement.
Vanguard quoted the Special Assistant to the President on Political and other matters, Ibrahim Kabir Masari, to have made this known via his verified X handle, @KabirIbrah64.
Masari said that he had the honour of visiting President Tinubu at his private residence in the UK, where they engaged in productive discussions before departing for Paris.
According to him, “Today, I had the honour of visiting President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu at his private residence in the United Kingdom, where we engaged in productive discussions.
“We then departed for Paris, France, for another significant engagement.”
Recall that Onanuga, in a statement on October 2, announced Tinubu’s departure for the two-week vacation.
Onanuga, in the short statement said: “President Bola Tinubu will depart Abuja today for the United Kingdom to commence a two-week vacation, part of his yearly leave.
“He will use the two weeks as a working vacation and a retreat to reflect on his administration’s economic reforms.
