Kotokuhene Oseadeeyo Dr Frimpong Manso Iv Elevate Nana Kwame Akomeah I As Kotoku Akwanserahene

Thursday 3rd October 2024 was a momentous occasion. Several hundred of Chiefs of the Akyem Kotoku State had come to the Kotoku Palace in Akim-Oda as part of its Traditonal Council meeting.
Nana Kwame Akomeah I, who is the Gyasehene of Akyem Adjienua swore the oath of allegiance as Akyem Kotoku Akwanserahene to Oseadeeyo Dr. Frimpong Manso IV King of the Akyem Kotoku State.
The short ceremony was steeped in tradition amidst drumming and dancing and shouts of joy from supporters of Nana Kwame Akomeah I.
Oseadeeyo Dr. Frimpong Manso IV immediately after the swearing of the oath, offered words of wisdom and advice to the newly installed Kotoku Akwanserahene.
He urged the new Kotoku Akwanserahene among other things to “hellip;lead an exemplary life, guided by the principles of integrity, honesty, and compassion”.
Oseadeeyo Dr. Frimpong Manso IV reminded Nana Kwame Akomeah I that: “Leadership is a sacred trust. You have the responsibility to protect and promote the welfare of the people. Unite the people; don’t divide them”.
Nana Kwame Ankomah I known in private life as Nana Kwame Akomeah, started his primary education at Asante Bakwai. He later had his secondary education at Kumasi technical Institute. Nana Kwame Ankomeahis a former worker of Newmount Akyem Miners and currently a businessman.
The Akwanserahene is the Minister of Land and natural resources for the Akyem Kotoku State. He’s in charge of the King’s land safety and security- a duty to protect lands of Kotoku state .
Nana Kwame Akomeah I thanked Kotokuhene for reposing much confidence in him and elevating him to such a prestigious position.
He assured Oseadeeyo of his unwavering support to the cause of the Akyem Kotoku State development.
Nana Kwame Akomeah I come on board the league of Abrempongs of Akyem Kotoku State at a time Oseadeeyo Dr Frimpong Manso IV is initiating a major restructuring of the Akyem Kotoku State.
