A Pharisee Like Owusu Bempah Can Never Bring NPP Down Wontumi Fires

The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi has called the bluff of the founder and leader of the Glorious Word and Power Ministry International, Rev Isaac Owusu-Bempah over his claims that he will bring down the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

The man of God who is famous for prophesying victory for the NPP in major elections has become the talk of town in recent times after claiming that God has ordained former President John Mahama as the next President of Ghana.

He has later boasted that he is the bridge to the presidency in Ghana.

“I am very humbled and a man of God. I say this to the glory of God – no one can sit on the presidential throne without my involvement,” he said in an interview on Okay FM.

His comments have since annoyed the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the NPP who insists that the man of God does not hold the keys to the NPP’s destiny.

“Some people are making it look like the NPP can never win power without their prophesies, but that is not true, it can never be truehellip;does he (Owusu-Bempah) think he is the only one who has invested in the party? I dare you, I will never stop at anything, he should get it clearhellip;,” he warned.

“What has the NPP done to you? We can’t force you to be an NPP member, but he must remember that just like Jonah, he will be forced to go to Nineveh even if he doesn’t want to because it is the plans of God that will come to pass, so he (Owusu-Bempah) should stop behaving like he eats with God in one bowlhellip;,” he said.

He further described Rev Owusu-Bempah as a ‘Pharisee’ who is refusing to criticize the likes of Kelvin Taylor who have been speaking against him and persons of Northern descent.
