G10 Travel Companies Mobilize 50 Ghanaians To Welcome Wanderlust Ghana In Dubai

A vibrant group of approximately 50 Ghanaians, comprising media professionals, businesspeople, and tourists, arrived in Dubai to welcome the Wanderlust Ghana team.

The highly anticipated visit marks a significant milestone in the team's ongoing 30,000-kilometer journey across 30 countries, following their successful road trip from Accra to London in 2023.

Organized by the G10 Travel Companies, the expedition provides Ghanaians with an exciting chance to join the Wanderlust Ghana team during their major stops in Dubai and South Africa.

The G10 consortium includes notable travel companies such as Travel Planners Ghana, Eves Travelcation, and Adbel Travels, among others.

They aim to promote tourism and cultural exchange through this initiative.

The Wanderlust Ghana team, known for their adventurous spirit, has been making significant stops along their journey, with Dubai being one of the highlights. From October 6–12, 2024, participants will enjoy an array of thrilling experiences, including desert dune bashing the Ghanaian way and an all-white party on a yacht, fostering connections among Ghanaians in Dubai.

Following their Dubai adventure, the team will persist their expedition, heading to South Africa for a six-night experience from November 7–14, 2024. Participants can expect to explore iconic landmarks such as Soweto, Robben Island, and Table Mountain, culminating in a celebratory event with the Wanderlust team.

For those unable to join in Dubai or South Africa, an alternative meet-up is planned in Benin, allowing even more Ghanaians to connect with the team. Mercy Akaliga, a representative of the G10 group, highlighted the importance of supporting Wanderlust Ghana's mission, stating, “Wanderlust Ghana is doing a lot for the country, and their ‘Visit Ghana’ tagline is helping promote tourism. By bringing interested Ghanaians to meet the team halfway, we aim to motivate and support their efforts to attract more tourists to Ghana, which will ultimately benefit the economy.”

Wanderlust Ghana's expedition not only seeks to inspire Ghanaians to embrace travel and adventure but also aims to strengthen cultural ties and promote Ghana as a premier travel destination.
