Election 2024 Lets Support Bawumia To Be President School Feeding Program Boss To Caterers

The National Coordinator of the Ghana School Feeding Program, Hajia Safia Mohammed, has urged all school feeding caterers to actively campaign for Dr. Bawumia to become the next President of Ghana. 

She emphasized that only an NPP government can ensure a smooth and progressive administration of the school feeding program. 

Hajia Safia Mohammed highlighted the significant increase in the feeding grant from GH 0.70 per child to GH 1.50 per child since the NPP assumed office, attributing this positive alter to President Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo.

These remarks were made during a courtesy call by the Caterers Association of the School Feeding Program at her office in Accra. 

She assured the caterers that a Bawumia Presidency would lead to a significant improvement in the school feeding program and promised that plans were well underway to secure funds to pay them their 3rd term arrears.

The leadership of the caterer’s association commended the National Coordinator for her effective and progressive leadership since taking office. 

They acknowledged that in the past, caterers’ associations were seen as pressure groups formed to revolt against the secretariat but expressed their unity behind the secretariat and the government to collaboratively build a better school feeding program.King Edward Ambrose Washman/
