Bunch Of Hypocrites Bootlicking To Akufo Addo And Bawumia Mahama Goes After Some Chiefs Pastors

Former President John Dramani Mahama has launched a blistering attack on State institutions, particularly the Military and religious institutions for what he says is their support for the New Patriotic Party and their flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

Addressing NDC supporters at a campaign event, the former President, in a furious tirade, questioned the Chiefs, Clergy and Imams as well as traditionalists in the country why they are not berating the Akufo-Addo/Bawumia administration.

“We have Pastors, Imams, Chiefs and civil society groups in this country who instead of rebuking the NPP, rather support them. When NDC says something, it is like we are the bad ones. They must rather joining forces with us to tell the government that, due to your wickedness towards Ghanaians, it is time for you to go. But you will see Chiefs commending them (NPP) that they have done good jobs.

“In the churches, you see pastors praying for him (Bawumia) that the government has done a good job; we bless you and may God give you victory. He goes to the traditionalists and they pour wine to their shrines and ask their ancestors to guide him (Bawumia)”, he said.

He averred that "they are hypocrites” but “I am confident that the NDC will win".Ameyaw Adu Gyamfi/
