Professor Richard Kofi Asiedu, the Central Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has donated six brand-new pickup vehicles and one mobile information van as part of a major effort to support the party's Flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama's campaign.
With this donation, the party hopes to strengthen its presence in the Central Region and secure a landslide victory in the general elections scheduled for December 7.
In his remarks, Professor Asiedu underlined how crucial having sufficient resources is to winning an election.
He pledged his support for the party's campaign and made sure that the Central Region will be instrumental in assuring John Mahama's election.
Additionally, Professor Asiedu restated his goal, which he had named "Agenda 20 Seats" and which seeks to gain the NDC 20 representative seats in the Central Region.
He is confident that the party will make great progress toward this objective with the help of this donation.
Professor Asiedu also exhorted the NDC executives and supporters to engage voters and promote the party's program by going door-to-door in a spirited campaign.
In order to win over voters' hearts and minds, he underlined the requirement of using a grassroots tactic.
"Let us go to the people, listen to their concerns, and showcase our vision for a better Ghana.
"With dedication and hard work, we can achieve victory and bring prosperity to our people," Professor Asiedu said.
John Dramani Mahama, on his part expressed his sincere gratitude to Professor Asiedu for his good gesture.
He commended the regional chairman for his leadership and commitment to the party's cause, and he noted the importance of this assistance in strengthening the party's campaign efforts.
It is anticipated that the contributed automobiles will boost the party's outreach initiatives, allow for effective communication, and galvanize supporters throughout the area.
Professor Asiedu hopes to improve the NDC's parliamentary representation, fortify the party's ties to the Central Region, and raise the party's prospects of winning the presidential election.
