Bawumia Is A Visionary Leader Not A Drunkard Atta Akyea

Former Minister of Works and Housing and MP for Abuakwa South, Atta Akyea left many wondering who was the target of a thinly-veiled tirade he launched in his constituency on Wednesday.

During the visit of NPP Flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Atta Akyea launched a veiled scathing attack, insinuating that somebody is a drunkard unlike Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

The Abuakwa South MP described Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as a visionary leader and not a drunkard. 

“Dr. Bawumia is a wise man. And he is not a drunkard. He is not a drunkard and he is wise”, Atta Akyea said amidst cheers from the crowd.

He continued; "God has blessed this nation and we are on the verge of being blessed with a wise man who is not a drunkard."

"Don't you like this? If you don't like this what else do you like?"

Recently, during the state of the nation address, President Nana Akufo-Addo also insinuated that he doesn't drink alcohol when he paused his address to take a glass of water.
