Democratic Forum for Medical Laboratory Professionals Endorses NDC Manifesto

A group known as the Democratic Forum for Medical Laboratory Professionals (DFMLP) has endorsed the campaign manifesto of the National Democratic Congress.

According to them, they are convinced beyond all reasonable doubt, after reading extensively through the 200-page document that H.E. John Dramani Mahama and Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang are the pair to reset the country and provide the jobs, accountability and the needed developments that Ghana needs at this period.

In a statement signed by the president of the group, Dr. Moses Kofi Woli, he explained that the group is particularly enthused by the thorough coverage of crucial issues needed to improve the healthcare system of the country and ensure the wellbeing of the populace.

"On pages 102 to 111 of the manifesto, every sector of the healthcare system was touched and the needed solutions to each sector were proffered," the statement added.

DFMLP ENDORSES THE NDC MANIFESTO

The Democratic Forum for Medical Laboratory Professionals (DFMLP) wishes to congratulate the leadership of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) including the experienced and hardworking flagbearer, H. E. John Dramani Mahama on the launching of their Manifesto for the upcoming
December 7 general elections.

The DFMLP is convinced beyond all reasonable doubt, after reading extensively through the 200-page document that H.E. John Dramani Mahama and Prof. Naana Jane Opoku Agyeman are the pair to reset the country and provide the jobs, accountability and the needed developments that Ghana needs at this period.

This conclusion was reached after analyzing the manifestos of the two leading political parties in the country.

DFMLP is particularly enthused by the thorough coverage of crucial issues needed to improve the healthcare system of the country and ensure the wellbeing of the populace.

On pages 102 to 111 of the manifesto, every sector of the healthcare system was touched and the needed solutions to each sector were proffered.

Compared to the provisions on health in the Manifesto of the NPP (pages 157-172), the NDC has superior policies and appears to understand the heath sector far better.

As Medical Laboratory Professionals, we wish to specially thank the NDC and specifically its flagbearer and running mate for the special focus on the Medical Laboratory Science profession.

On pages 109 and 110, points 8, 9, 10 and 11 of section 5.2.7.2, the NDC promises to our profession address the major concerns of the Medical Laboratory Science profession. We trust in the honesty and competence of H.E. John Dramani Mahama to deliver his promises to the profession to improve the healthcare system and create thousands of jobs for the youth of the Country, especially through the production of Laboratory reagents/test kits and equipment.

We, therefore entreat all practicing Medical Laboratory professionals, Allied Health professionals, trainees, other well-meaning healthcare workers and the youth of the country to vote massively for the NDC to reset the Country and provide accountable and competent leadership.

Signed:

Dr. Moses Kofi Woli (FWAPCMLS, MLS (ASCPi))
