Kow Essuman, Legal Advisor to President Nana Akufo-Addo, has stated that the legacy of the president cannot be underestimated.
He emphasised the significant strides made under Akufo-Addo’s leadership, particularly in areas such as infrastructure, education, and healthcare, which have had a lasting impact on the nation.
In a post on X on Monday, August 26, Mr Essuman noted that despite the obstacles faced during Akufo-Addo’s tenure, including the global economic downturn and the COVID-19 pandemic, the president has managed to steer the country through turbulent times.
He pointed to the implementation of flagship programmes like the Free Senior High School initiative, which has provided access to education for thousands of Ghanaian children, as a testament to Akufo-Addo's commitment to the country's development.
Mr Essuman also highlighted the government’s efforts in expanding infrastructure across the country, including the construction of roads, bridges, and hospitals.
These developments, he argued, have laid a solid foundation for future growth and have positioned Ghana as a rising star on the African continent.
He thus asserted that while every administration has its critics, the achievements of Akufo-Addo's government are undeniable.
He urged Ghanaians to recognize the progress made over the past years and to persist supporting initiatives that promote the nation’s growth and prosperity.
"The legacy of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Adddo cannot be underestimated. Major infrastructure development during his time as President," he posted.
